I was flipping through my journal the other night before bed. I had just finished writing a couple of pages of gratitude and was returning from being absorbed in the future promises of my vision board. In my journal, I came across something that I had written on November 11th, 2013 at 8:47am, while I was in India. The words fanned themselves into my heart just as they had when I first received them. Lying in bed, I had to read then again and again. The words became a tidal wave of yes! exactly! I know! and when I read them, I connected directly to all that is greater than me.
The passage reads -
I forget my mind in Kundalini. I breathe without fear, without doubt. During Sahasrara Chakra (crown chakra), God told me - "they are only strangers until you love them." It was so rich and loving. We were kept close, soothed and focused.
They are only strangers until you love them.
They are only strangers until you love them!
THEY ARE ONLY STRANGERS UNTIL YOU LOVE THEM.
This wisdom that was whispered into my soul from something far greater was like a secret door. This gateway collapsed imagined separation between all of us. It connected me to you, and all of us to each other.
Once you look into the face of someone unknown and decide in your heart that you love them, well they are no longer strange. There is no more us and them. We are all one.
So look into the faces of the people you pass and often don't see. Decide that no matter what, you love them. Even if they cut you off in traffic or say something silly and loud. Decide in your heart not to reserve your love. Let it pour forth and lift the lives of all the souls you encounter.
